After his previous post "Little Tip on Scaling Personalization", Kyle Coleman gave us another great content on his Best Email Submissions. "I asked people to submit their best emails of 2022 and got over 50 submissions.
๐ I'll share the top 10 later this week. In the meantime, I organized all the submissions in the slides below.
I'll do commentary on the top 10. What stands out, what I like, what the data says.
๐ You'll have to form your own opinions about the ones below.

Some explainers for the categories in the deck:
๐คฃ Fun + personalized.
You're allowed to have fun while prospecting! This is especially powerful if you blend your humor with some real research on the person or account.
๐ Personalized.
More traditional personalized emails. Doing research on the person or account and tying it back to a problem their solution solves.
๐ค Templates.
Personalization isn't the only path to a great email. A solid template is a great way to scale your effort and multiply your success.
๐คก Straight up silly.
I'm personally not a huge fan of this style, but many other people are. Good for a laugh, for sure. But good for business? Really depends on the recipient."
