It's an additional layer of authentication that makes receiving inboxes trust you more - improving your deliverability.
In other words, it shows others that you're a legit sender (not a spammer).
I haven't seen any hard data yet on how it impacts deliverability rates. But when I do, I'll share.
Does anyone else have data on this?
