Our new Leader to Follow on LinkedIn - Yurii Veremchuk on his Lowering Pressure on Prospects

Updated: Nov 29, 2022

"I’m getting more responses lately to my cold emails (up 2-3%)

All because of this simple trick I found on LinkedIn some time ago.

Here’s how it works.

Most cold emails put pressure on prospects to take action.

The idea here is to decrease that pressure.

Give prospects room to not take an action if they don’t feel like it.

Here’s how I use it:

Use a soft tone CTA

Instead of “let’s book a meeting, got 30 min tomorrow?”

I go with “Maybe I'm way off base here, but is it worth exploring more?”

After the CTA, I write this:

“No worries if not! It might be a lot coming from a stranger”

Or

“No worries if not. Anyway, nice to “meet” you”

And… It works!

I’m having more good conversations.

Considering that it’s only a couple of words that I write once and forget, the results are great!

Have you tried something like that?"
